Ingredients

(Makes about 12 bites)

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup almond flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup Honey Mouth Sweet Fig Honey Spread
  • ¼ cup natural almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended!)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep & Preheat

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together oats, almond flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.

Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together Honey Mouth Sweet Fig Honey Spread, almond butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 4: Combine & Fold

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. If using, fold in chopped nuts and mini chocolate chips.

Step 5: Form & Bake

Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough per bite, roll into a ball, and place on the baking sheet. Gently press them down slightly (they won’t spread too much).

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Step 6: Cool & Enjoy!

Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or store for later!
